Statement of faith

We believe in one God, almighty and eternal, in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Son, Jesus Christ, came into the world through virgin birth, lived without sin, died for the atonement of humankind and resurrected for our salvation. This same Jesus ascended into heaven and is our Advocate.

We believe the Word of God is true and infallible.

We believe salvation is available to humankind, without exclusion. The requirement for salvation is faith in God’s Son and the sacrifice He made on your behalf. God’s willingness to sacrifice so great a price is proof of the Love of God toward us and the foundation of every life's intrinsic worth. Those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ have been granted the right to be called children of God. They make up a community of believers here on earth called the church.

We believe in the imminent return of Christ and the sanctification of all creation to the Glory of God. Until that time, we are to fulfill the great commission by sharing the good news of salvation through the atonement provided by Jesus Christ with people of all nations.

We believe that charity is humankinds’ opportunity to join God in what He is doing here in the world. When we do show forth charity we are sharing God's love with our fellow humans.

We believe that every person has a Mite to give and every Mite is precious and worthy of honor regardless of type or monetary value. A Mite, freely and joyfully given, has the power of God to make an exponential impact in the world. That impact is something that we can and should celebrate!
