Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability
The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability or ECFA is the premier financial standards association within America. The organization works with evangelical Christian organizations and churches with tax-exempt, nonprofit status and which receive tax-deductible contributions. ECFA is an accrediting organization. Nonprofit organizations which pass accreditation and who adhere to Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship (TM) are provided an ECFA seal of approval. Accreditation under the ECFA is reviewed annually. Mite is an accredited member of the ECFA since 2021.
Candid GuideStar
GuideStar, a subsidiary of Candid, is an information center on nonprofits within the United States. It is the world's largest resource for information on nonprofit organizations. GuideStar maintains an extensive database on nonprofits including grant making organizations and their grants. GuideStar also offers print and electronic resources for donors. Mite has three levels of accredited Transparency and currently holds a Gold Transparency certification from GuideStar.
GreatNonprofits
GreatNonprofits is the largest repository of crowdsourced information on nonprofits. The organization collects reviews and personal account directly from clients, partners and donors of nonprofits and publishes this information the GreatNonprofits website. The Top Rated award is issued by GreatNonprofits to nonprofit organization who maintain an average rating of 4.5 stars. Mite has been award the Top Rated award from GreatNonprofit for three years in a row.
Excellence in Giving
Excellence in Giving is a full service advisory firm for the philanthropic community with the United States. Excellence in Giving intends to increase the joy in charitable giving for high-capacity donors through a process including discovery, evaluation, participation, and celebration. Mite has been a certified nonprofit with Excellence in Giving for the past three years.
