Black Mountain, a charming town in the mountains of Western North Carolina, was one of many communities devastated by Hurricane Helene. Months later, these communities are still rebuilding, with full restoration expected to take at least five years.

In times of hardship, one of the most powerful gifts we can offer is the assurance that no one is forgotten—that they are loved and cared for.

Through Project 67 - Fostering Love, our Mite Giving Community is reaching out to bring comfort to Black Mountain Home, a long-standing children's home based in the Black Mountain community. Nearly 100 children, along with the dedicated house parents and staff who care for them, will receive Valentine’s care packages filled with sweet treats, warm socks, cuddly toys, school supplies, and—most importantly—a handwritten letter reminding them that they are loved and being prayed for.

It may seem like a small gesture, but in times of crisis, these acts of kindness leave a lasting impression.

Join us in sharing love this Valentine’s Day by sponsoring a $12 care package for these children and their caregivers!
