Whether through illness, loss of loved ones, loss of work, or mandatory quarantine, there is no question that the Covid-19 has affected all our lives. Safety measurements have to be made to protect our children, the elderly, and immunocompromised. While for some, this means staying at home, for others, it means much more.

Our Frontline in the battle against Covid-19 continues to be those healthcare professionals, crisis responders, law enforcement officers, and others whose services require direct exposure to the virus.

Mite has learned of the need for face masks among COVID Warriors who are meeting the daily needs of low-income families. For Project 22, we’re donating 1,000 face masks to the volunteers at Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System who distribute breakfast and lunch to children every day.

These volunteers are exposed daily to the virus and a mask is part of their mandatory safety equipment. Together we can help the COVID Warriors on the Frontline and support them in their duties in the safest environment possible. Let’s come together and cover these workers with care!
