Early in Mite's launch, we had the opportunity to visit with a group of middle schoolers. We talked about mission work, the global projects Mite had conducted, and the potential every person has to make a difference through giving. The group was engaging, and although our time was brief, we connected with these young people. We were blessed far beyond any blessing that we provided to them.
Shortly after this discussion, we received word that one of the young ladies who attended the meeting set up a fund to support future Mite projects. The young lady called the fund "The Gratitude Fund." WOW! How perfect was that name? The Gratitude Fund was created by a young lady who grasped Mite's mission in a 30-minute discussion. Its purpose, to help others in need, founded on a student's gratitude. Her gratitude motivated her to give! Wammo! That's so exciting to us at Mite!
The Gratitude Fund has now donated multiple times to Mite. Those funds are benefitting the lives of others around the world! That is simply awesome. What a blessing for Mite to be the recipient of these treasured gifts - willingly and freely given from a heart of gratitude. Of course, we will let the founder of the Gratitude Fund know who receives her contributions and how her gifts benefit these people.
